4th grade celebrated National 4th Graders Day, which is the second Monday of January. We made crowns and held a Connect Four tournament. Congrats to Anderson Scott for his win!

Aubrey Bartkowiak takes home gold at the IHSAA Girls Regional tournament and will compete as a #1 seed in next Friday’s IHSAA Girls State Tournament.
Joslyn Barnett qualifies for the State Tournament placing 4th today at Regionals.
Bartkowiak is now 34-1 on the season. Barnett is now 34-5 on the season.

Hello! My name is Clinton Robertson, and I’m excited to be teaching Earth and Space Science at Attica Jr/Sr High School this year. I grew up locally attending Fountain Central, and after serving as a submarine nuclear electrician in the U.S. Navy, I pursued my passion for teaching. I graduated from Purdue University in December and am excited to bring my passion for science into the classroom.
In our Earth and Space Science class, we’ll explore fascinating topics like planetary science, meteorology, and the processes that shape our solar system and beyond. My goal is to make science engaging and to spark curiosity about the world around us.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy trivia, retro tech, and hiking. I’m always looking for new ways to incorporate and bring creativity and discovery into learning. I look forward to a fantastic year working together!

Hello! My name is Jackie Thomas, and I am thrilled to be joining Attica Jr./Sr. High School once again as a science teacher this January. As an Indianapolis native, I’m deeply connected to our small, vibrant community and am excited to contribute to the growth and success of our students.
When I’m not diving into the wonders of science, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our four kids, as well as caring for our beloved animals. Crafting, reading, and exercising are some of my favorite ways to unwind and stay inspired. I look forward to fostering curiosity and creativity in the classroom while building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. It’s an honor to serve the community I call home, and I’m eager to make this a fantastic year of discovery and learning together!
Just a reminder for the Holiday Tourney this weekend. Admission is $6 for Friday and $6 for Saturday. Sports passes of any kind do not work for the Holiday Tourney.
