Due to frigid temperatures, Attica schools will observe an e-learning day tomorrow, Monday the 20th of January.
STEAM Saturday was a success! Students learned about different types of bridges, and were challenged to design and engineer the strongest bridge they could out of mini marshmallows & toothpicks. Some bridges could hold up to 60 pennies! Great job kiddos!

We had over 180 students that qualified to attend the movie. These students had no more than 2 unexcused absences, no failing grades, and no major discipline! AWESOME JOB, STUDENTS!
The AHS students in Intro to Culinary made perfect loaves of challah as part of our bread unit. Challah is a centuries old bread used in Jewish ceremonies. These students did a great job of working through a challenging recipe and were able to share samples with their friends at lunch today.

4th grade celebrated National 4th Graders Day, which is the second Monday of January. We made crowns and held a Connect Four tournament. Congrats to Anderson Scott for his win!

Aubrey Bartkowiak takes home gold at the IHSAA Girls Regional tournament and will compete as a #1 seed in next Friday’s IHSAA Girls State Tournament.
Joslyn Barnett qualifies for the State Tournament placing 4th today at Regionals.
Bartkowiak is now 34-1 on the season. Barnett is now 34-5 on the season.
