Chief Deputy Greg Grimmett with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office spent time with our North Criminal Justice classes over the past two weeks, teaching defensive tactics and STOPS (Strategic Tactics of Patrol Stops). Students gained hands-on experience through scenarios such as traffic stops, domestic calls, and physical altercations, making for an engaging and real-world learning opportunity.
Mrs. Cunningham worked with the elementary students in Red Cross swim lessons throughout the nine weeks. Pictured in the pool today was Mrs Rosswurm’s 4th grade class. A big thank you to Roman Mitchell, Abe Remaklus, Aaron Saunders, and Maggie Cunningham for assisting the swimmers over the past several weeks.

Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week gave us a special opportunity to recognize the amazing people who make our schools such a great place for students each day. In my first semester here, I have been so grateful for how our teachers and staff consistently pour their energy, care, and dedication into helping students grow both inside and outside the classroom. Their impact goes far beyond academics- they encourage, support, and help shape the future of every child they serve.

Attica Baseball has played competitive ball all season long, showing tremendous fight and a never-quit attitude in every game. They continue to compete the right way, supporting each other and bringing great energy no matter the situation.
Attica Softball continues to compete hard each night while bringing great energy and a positive spirit to every game. We are proud of these girls and the way they represent our school on and off the field!
Great job to Mr. Dean and Mr. Mattern for leading an engaging 7th grade PE pickleball lesson that was thoughtfully scaffolded to build students’ understanding of rules and techniques. The lesson culminated in match play, where students stayed actively engaged and showed great sportsmanship by positively supporting one another!
A big thank you to Sterling Church and River City Church for providing lunch for our staff during Teacher Appreciation Week—we truly appreciate your generosity and support! Our Rambler PTO also did an incredible job making the week special. Today, they provided students with “Gratefulness Keychains” to deliver to teachers who have made a meaningful impact in their lives.

Bravo! Our Fine Arts Spring program last night was a tremendous success. From the outstanding visual art displays to the impressive pieces by our Attica Jr.-Sr. High bands and choirs, it was a wonderful celebration of our students’ talent and hard work.
