Our Teen Cafes are funded through IU Health/North Central Health Services and our designed to allow students the opportunity to learn from one another and build positive connections. Our 7th graders learned about resilience and the importance of social connection.  We know that conversations can be hard and even harder with those we may not often  interact with. What a great opportunity to learn more about each other in a fun and relaxing atmosphere!  Thank you to our AHS staff and, most importantly, Mr. Jensen and Mrs. Balensiefer for recognizing the need and allowing our students to have these experiences!

Congrats to the Attica junior high track teams tonight! The teams performed well and received several personal bests! Gunner Payne captured the school record in the 110 meter hurdle event. The boys won the Bi-County beating Seeger, Covington, and Fountain Central. The girls participated and placed in all but two events this evening with a Bi-County first in the 4x 400, nearly breaking the school record. Congrats to Coach Cunningham and both teams on terrific performances.

This week's promotion for the Student Lead Organization (Java & Threads) came from our students in Mrs. Current's Administration & Office Management class who wanted to see a successful sale at the end of the year. They offered a Combo Bag Sale with a Drink for $4 and it went great! The students have worked very hard during the school year to understand the clientele, how to market the items to the students, how to make various kinds of coffee drinks, and customer service. There's one more task for the class to entail and that is to figure profit and losses and then take an inventory of items before the end of the school year. Thank you to all the students and staff who purchased items through Java or Threads during this school year.
