Thank you to Jennifer Fry from Wabash Valley Education Center for joining both our Elementary and Jr/Sr High School staff to lead professional development today on inquiry learning and the new integrated STEM standards.
Mr. Campbell’s Econ class was able to make a solar eclipse cookie while also becoming aware of the economic boom for cities located in the total eclipse’s path - the hospitality industry definitely took advantage of this major event!
Pictured are the 6th grade and 8th grade SEL students preparing solar eclipse cookies for the big event. After reviewing facts regarding the solar eclipse, students were able to enjoy this unusual treat. A big thanks to the high school culinary students who prepared and delivered solar eclipse cookies to the staff today.
