Five high school choir members who attended All-Region Choir in November received their certificates today: Sarah Mitton, Jacob Munson, Briegan Cole, Garrett Clawson, and Gwen Duncan. They performed with students from nine other schools at Marian University. The choir was directed by Joseph Bandi from Purdue University. Congratulations, All-Region Singers!

This morning we were notified by the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame that Attica Graduate, Kevin G. Brown, has been named as one of the two officials to receive the Women’s Center Circle Award.

Congratulations to our newest Sagamore of Attica recipient, Coach Dean Branstetter. Coach Branstetter is a Indiana Wrestling Hall of Famer and recently brought home the 600th win of his career. Thank you Coach Branstetter for all you have done and continue to do for Attica.
During the celebrating success portion of tonight's ACSC Board Meeting, Mrs. DeAnda and drama cast members shared about the fall play and the upcoming Spring Musical scheduled for March 1st and 2nd.

Students in Mrs. Current's Principles of Business classes used technology provided by their cell phones to scan QR codes. The class had 15 stations where they were to unscramble the term given, scan the code for hints on a project for finances. The answer the students were looking for was the "Snowball Method". This is a debt reducing method to pay off your bills not including mortgages.
AHS Finals will take place on the last two days of school this semester, Wed, Dec 20, & Thurs, Dec 21. These two days will operate on an adjusted schedule for all students in grades 6-12, so that there is an extended class period devoted to final exams for each class.
Today was "Candy Cane Day" for our staff, but we surprised the students with some as well. ALL students were distributed Candy Canes at lunch today from the Future Educators Club.
