Today, we hosted our Safari Job Fair and Reality Mall event, and we are incredibly thankful for all the volunteers who took the time to work with our students!
Our 8th graders participated in the Reality Mall, where they experienced what it’s like to budget as a 28-year-old adult. After selecting a career and receiving a monthly salary, they were challenged to manage their finances by purchasing a home, selecting a vehicle, and paying for essentials like utilities, groceries, and childcare. It was an eye-opening experience for many!
Meanwhile, all students in grades 6–12 toured our career fair, exploring a wide range of opportunities available to them. It was a great day of real-world learning and future planning!

The Attica Criminal Justice class has been talking about crime scene photography. Yesterday they photographed evidence, made a recovery log and put a PowerPoint presentation together.

Mrs. Current's CTE Business class welcomed an attorney to speak to the class regarding business law.
The students learned about what goes into contracts, what information can be shared when leaving one business and going to a competitor, and being aware of warranties on products. The students were able to ask questions as well.
The students are from Attica, Covington and Seeger.

Thank you to Attica County Market for donating ice cream sandwiches for 3rd quarter honor roll students!

We finished STEAM Saturday with students using creativity and critical thinking to design their own board games using math concepts. It was a fun and engaging way for students to apply their math knowledge in a hands-on, interactive environment, while fostering innovation! We celebrated with ice cream Sundays!

Mrs. Tague’s first graders enjoyed a culinary lab today with the AHS 8th graders as their instructors.
