JH Football played a great game tonight against North Newton. Forced 5 turnovers (4 int, 1 fumble) and ended in a tie. 6-6. Looking forward to watching this group grow and improve throughout the season.
AES FALL FUNDRAISER The AES Fall Fundraiser kicked off on Friday, August 25. Money and forms are due back Tuesday, September 5. Just a reminder that the money raised goes to field trips, playground equipment (balls, hula hoops, etc...), and convocations. We appreciate all of your efforts and support to keep these things going. If you do not know an elementary student that is doing the fundraiser, but would still like to order trash bags, please contact the elementary office @ 765-762-7000 EXT 3000.

6th grade students in Mr. Newsome's Social Studies class have been learning about Aztec culture. Today they went down to the gym to play "Pok-a-Tok", an Aztec game that is similar to basketball.
Ms. Stockdell's AP Lit. students had their first socratic seminar of the year. Topic? Famous mystery detectives Holmes and Dupin and literary patterns

Doug's Studios will be here all day on Tuesday, August 29th for school pictures. Forms are being passed out today during target time. There will also be additional forms available in the office.
This Tuesday morning, during Target Time, there will be an informational meeting / "call out" for Junior High competition robotics in Mr. Corduan's classroom, AHS 304. Any interested or curious students (Grades 6 - 8) are welcome to attend. There are a limited number of spots, but those spots are not only for builders and drivers, but also students to help create a web page, promote the time, organize supplies, and more.
Competition event dates are not yet set, but the game this year will be Full Volume, and a promotional video for this challenge will be shared at the meeting.
