Congratulations to our Attica Junior High boys on their 1st place finish at the Bi-County meet, and to our girls team for a strong 4th place finish—great work by all! Thank you to all of our volunteers for your time and support in making this event a success.

Last night, our senior National Honor Society members recognized the teacher or coach who has made the greatest impact on their journey. The Attica NHS also extends its appreciation to all educators who make a difference in the lives of our students every day.

At last night’s Attica School Board meeting, we recognized several outstanding achievements. Mr. Mark Mattern earned WRCTE approval for Attica’s Physical Therapy Program to become a shared program in 2026–2027, Steven Arizmendi was honored for excellence in the program, and choir students Gwen Duncan and Nora Smalley earned gold ratings at State, with Gwen receiving a Gold with Distinction. In athletics, senior swimmer Aaron Saunders was recognized for his sectional performance and as a conference champion.

We’re proud to recognize our students for their outstanding effort and performance at ISSMA- your hard work and dedication truly paid off! We are grateful for the commitment of these students and directors, and we celebrate their accomplishments alongside all of our fine arts programs.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support Attica National Honor Society at our annual Pizza Hut Tip Night—your generosity helped us raise over $1,100! We are especially grateful to Pizza Hut for hosting us and matching tips up to $500, helping support our students with items like patches, stoles, and state membership.

Congratulations to our High School Fine Arts Academic Super Bowl team on earning 3rd place in their division this past week! Their hard work studying art and music from the American Revolution paid off as they competed strongly in a challenging field. We are proud of their dedication and outstanding effort!

Attica was proud to welcome Police Chief Garrett Miller, Officer Alex Swisher, and K9 Niko to our North Criminal Justice class today! Students learned about K9 tracking, apprehension, and drug detection, while also getting to see Niko’s friendly side as he enjoyed some well-earned attention. Thank you to the Attica Police Department for providing this engaging, hands-on learning experience!

Last night’s Ramblers PTO Family Bingo Night was a fantastic success, filled with fun, laughter, and great community spirit! We are incredibly grateful to our PTO and all the volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to make the evening so special for our families. Thank you for all you do to support Attica Schools—we truly appreciate you!

Attica Girls’ Tennis celebrated Senior Night honoring Lilly Sichts, Molly Peterson, and Aubree Jones for their dedication and commitment to the program. We thank these seniors for their leadership and contributions both on and off the court, and wish them the best in their future endeavors! 🎾

Attica proudly hosted one of the IASP Area Academic Super Bowl competitions this year, welcoming 13 schools across all four enrollment classifications. Competing in Class 4, Attica earned 2nd place in Math and Social Studies, 3rd in Science and Fine Arts, and 4th in English. We’re proud of our students and grateful to the IASP, Mr. Campbell, Mrs. Sarah Mattern, and Mr. Duncan for helping make the event a success!

Congratulations to Attica High School senior Lillian Irwin on being selected as a Networks Scholar at Indiana State University’s Scott College of Business for Fall 2026! This highly competitive program recognizes top students for their academic achievement and leadership, while providing valuable financial support, professional development, and industry connections. Lillian plans to major in Marketing and Sales—well done!

We are so proud of all of our students who earned their 3rd quarter math goals! 🎉 Nearly 200 students celebrated their hard work with Kona Ice today -- what an awesome accomplishment! Keep up the great work! 🍧📚

Attica 6th graders visited JA BizTown , where they took on roles such as CEOs, CFOs, Safety Managers, and more, gaining hands-on experience running businesses. Students did a terrific job in their roles, with Grant Campbell earning the special honor of serving as Mayor of BizTown!

We are SO excited to meet our newest Ramblers and welcome the Class of 2039!

Mrs. Rosswurm, Mrs. Stafford, and their 4th graders had an exciting day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway! Students rotated through stations where they explored the math, science, history, and safety behind the Indy 500. They greatly appreciate all the volunteers who came together to help us learn about the Greatest Spectacle in Racing!

ILEARN testing for our 6th–8th grade students begins this week and runs through May 8—attendance and being on time each day are critical to their success. Help your child do their best by ensuring they get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, stay positive, and come prepared each day!

A big thank you to the Attica staff for chaperoning an evening of Prom festivities! Your time and support helped make it a safe, fun, and memorable night for our students.
