Mrs. Current's Introduction to Business 8th grade class created skits over the electronic payment options that were recently covered in class. The students showed Debit/Credit card payments, P2P payments, Gift cards and Digital Wallet payments. The students have also been busy learning about check writing, how to make deposits, filling out check registers, what overdrafts are, types of loans and why budgets are important. This class gives a variety of different areas within the business realm, so the students have a brief introduction to the field of study.

On Thursday, our jr high cross country team competed against Parke Heritage and South Vermillion @ South Vermillion.
Evelyn Mattern finished 1st in the girls race, finishing almost 2 minutes ahead of 2nd place. Maggie Cunningham took 3rd and Kate Bellomo 5th.
In the boys race, Rocco Falcon finished 2nd, followed closely by Carter Ashley in 3rd. Chayse Crowder also finished in the top 10.
Great job to all of our runners!!!

Mrs. Kiger's class celebrated national dot day by making our mark together!!

5th grade has been learning about character traits this week. They had to pick out traits for each of their classmates. The students then turned that into a collage of character traits and decided which one best fit them. 🩷

Attica Elementary learned a new core value each month and for the month of September, our core value was compassion. Compassion is caring enough to do something about someone else’s needs. The students at Attica Elementary had the opportunity to practice compassion by creating toys for cats in need at the animal shelter.
Together they made over 350 toys!!

It was a clean sweep yesterday for our volleyball program. 6th grade & 7/8th grade defeated Lafayette Christian in Lafayette and our JV & V both won against Danville Schlarman in Attica. Congratulations to all of the girls!!!
